I feel extremely honored and overwhelmed to share my views with you as a principal of Tops Higher Secondary School about what the school is, what the school aspires for and how we have planned to meet our aspirations.
Tops Higher Secondary School believes that every child is gifted with special talents, albeit those talents are in a dormant form. Therefore, the role of the school is to activate and bring out the talents and to discover the genius in every individual student through creating supportive and inclusive environment. The school aims to challenge its students with broad and engaging learning opportunities that inspire and motivate them to develop their creativity, confidence, values, cooperation, respect for self and others, and togetherness.
We offer a broad curriculum and a range of opportunities for all our students to reach their potential in the fields of academic, creative, social, cultural, sporting and community endeavors. We value collaborative learning, positive relationships and building capacity among st our students. Our pedagogy includes problem solving, evaluating, working in teams, communicating, creating and innovating which are not only valued concepts, but expected skills, attributes and capabilities.
We, at Tops Higher Secondary with the professional and dedicated faculties, supportive school environment and advanced pedagogy, and with the regular discussions, suggestions and cooperation from our parents, strive to bring out the best in each child in terms of his/her physical, social, mental and cognitive well being.
The practical experience of learning enables our children to leave our school daily with something valuable in their hand, something in their mind and most importantly with something valuable in their heart.
The distinctive and underlying philosophy of Tops Higher Secondary School is to provide global education while being steeped in the rich Nepali educational tradition and core values.
